Adrian Serapio

Hi! I am a PhD student in the joint UC Berkeley-UCSF Bioengineering graduate program, advised by Yang Yang, Kang Wang, and Jae Ho Sohn. I am also pursuing a designated emphasis in Computational Precision Health. I previously earned a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (EECS) from UC Berkeley.

My research is centered on Situated Clinical Intelligence with the goals of 1) building multimodal AI systems grounded in clinical context, 2) architecting agentic systems that can support clinical decision-making, and 3) establishing the clinician-AI interface for synergistic collaboration.
