Adrian Serapio

Hi! I am a PhD student in the joint UC Berkeley-UCSF Bioengineering graduate program, advised by Yang Yang, Kang Wang, and Jae Ho Sohn. I am also pursuing a Designated Emphasis in Computational Precision Health. I previously earned a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from UC Berkeley.

My research focuses on 1) building predictive, generative, and agentic NLP systems for electronic health record data and 2) advancing the translation of NLP systems into AI-driven clinical workflows.
